Terms of use
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SabSehat for using the SabSehat app, website and SabSehat Desk. By using them you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Not for emergencies
In an emergency, call 108. SabSehat helps you reach doctors, ambulances and blood banks, but it is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee that anyone will answer or arrive in time.
What SabSehat is
SabSehat is a platform that connects patients with independent doctors, hospitals, labs, pharmacies, ambulance operators and blood banks, and keeps your health records in one place. We do not practise medicine. Diagnosis, prescriptions, tests, medicines, transport and blood are provided by those independent providers, who are responsible for their care and services.
Health information in the app (report explanations, reminders, period and pregnancy estimates, vaccine schedules, articles) is general guidance, not medical advice. Period predictions are estimates and must not be used as contraception. Automatic reading of documents is a transcription you check; it is not a diagnosis.
The Just for her / Just for him lessons are educational. Sex and contraception lessons are shown only to people aged 21 and over. Private questions are answered by verified doctors for general guidance only and do not replace a visit; a doctor may decline a question that needs an examination. Do not put phone numbers, emails or links in a question. If you are in danger, call 112, Childline 1098 or Women 181.
Your account
- Use your own mobile number and keep your phone secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You may manage profiles for family members only with their permission, or as their parent or guardian.
- Give true information. Don’t upload anything that isn’t yours to share.
Fees and refunds
- A doctor booking costs a booking fee (shown before you pay, currently ₹49). You can move the booking to another free time with the same doctor up to two times without paying again. If you cancel at least 2 hours before the visit, the booking fee is kept as SabSehat credit and used automatically on your next booking or lab slot; it can’t be withdrawn as cash. If you cancel later, the fee isn’t returned. If the doctor cancels, it is refunded in full. Any consultation fee you paid online is always refunded to your account when the booking is cancelled. The consultation fee is the doctor’s and is paid to them.
- A lab slot fee (₹99 at the lab, ₹149 for home collection) is charged after the lab gives you a time; tests are paid to the lab.
- Medicines are sold by the pharmacy at its prices. Ambulance charges are agreed with and paid to the operator.
- Records, reminders, family profiles, women’s health, vaccines and blood requests are free.
Blood
Selling or buying blood is illegal in India. Never pay or ask for money for blood beyond a licensed blood bank’s processing charge. Only ask for blood that is really needed. Requests that are false or ask for money will be removed and the account may be blocked.
For doctors and providers
- You must hold the registration or licence you give us and keep it valid. We list you only after we verify it, and may remove you if it lapses or the details are wrong.
- You are responsible for your care, prescriptions, prices, stock and services, and for keeping the medical records the law requires.
- Follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines for video consults, and the rules on prescription medicines and Schedule H1 and X drugs.
- SabSehat pays and takes no referral fees. Listing is free.
- Use patients’ data only to care for them and as our privacy policy allows.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no false bookings or requests, harassment, impersonation, scraping, attempts to break security, or use against the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
We work to keep SabSehat available and accurate, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent providers, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before important changes apply. You can stop using SabSehat and close your account at any time.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Silchar, Assam have jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most problems are solved quickly.
